If you've received an email, from someone you know inviting you to participate in a Freshconnect discussion, and you're not sure what to do, you've come to the right place. First off, it's not spam.
Secondly, Freshconnect is a contextual collaboration tool, integrated with a Freshdesk (helpdesk) and Freshsales (CRM) account. You can participate in discussions related to tickets and deals, without having to log into the helpdesk or CRM. In Freshconnect, you'll be able to view all the context you need for the discussion like the ticket, replies, private notes, deal pipeline and so on. You'll be notified by email when there are updates.
When someone invites you to a discussion, you'll receive an email like this:
When you click on 'Join the discussion now', you'll be asked to create a Freshworks account. The account will help us remember who you are so please do.
Once you do, you'll be able to view the discussion you've been invited to, and its associated context.
